[Welcome to the 1950's. Mr. Panda is a successful banker and father known around town as a jovial and, unfortunately, clueless man. His biggest successes are Bearbank, his little princess Pilouette, his very dear daughter Toph...and, eh, there might be a third child in the middle there somewhere. Maybe.

Now that he's made his wealth, he spends a lot of his time gossiping! So if you're in the aristocracy and/or on good terms with Panda, you might get one of the following phone calls.]

[Night One]

Hello, hello...! Do you ever want to pick up a really awesome talent, even if it means you have to risk your life to learn it? Is there anyone in town like that?

[Night Two]

Hello, hello...! Don't mind me, just go ahead and start talking! Ah! But first, don't you get a really good feeling when you say "Mr. Panda" out loud? It's great, isn't it?

[Night Three]

Hello, hello...how do you think I should get beautiful women to fall in love with me without even trying? With Pillo and Toph and the other at the dance, I realize it's very quiet around here...

[Option 4]

[On night one, two, or three, Panda is still going to call your character...but what he talks about will be a total surprise! Are you brave enough to take that call?]

Hmm...right now, we have a cat and a dog. Toph's seeing-eye dog, of course. She's so brave.

I've always liked fish the most, myself. But I'm very fond of cats, too. [It's a bad combination, but she typically makes it work. It's a matter of being careful about where you let the cat go.]

Really...? Do you think fish are cute, Ami? Hmm...it's worth a try. I can always have an aquarium built.

Oh, yes, I think they're very cute. Maybe it's because I like swimming, too, so I feel like I understand them liking to live in the water.

Not at all, not at all! I really like the water, too. Honestly, sometimes I feel like another animal myself...maybe a lion, because I'm so protective of my children! So I can see why you'd like fish!

It probably wouldn't be a lion. Come to think of it, most sayings she knows about protective parents are about mother bears and their cubs.

I don't think that's true. Actually, bears are said to be very intelligent and curious. They learn a lot about the world around them.

And that's how they steal the picnic baskets, right? They make other people bring them food if you come too close, right?

Steal picnic baskets? I don't think they really do that... You aren't supposed to feed them at all, in the zoo. And in the wild, it could be dangerous to have food around that they could reach.

Hmm...it's a good thing there aren't any bears around here, then. I'd probably forget and feed them some leftovers.

[You know, come to think of it, someone in this conversation really, strongly resembles a bear.]

I wonder if bears can eat human food at all... I'll have to look it up at the library. I think they can, or they wouldn't go after scraps so often.

You know what the saying is, right? I'm so hungry, I could eat a bear? I bet it's the same for bears, too, but in reverse. I'm so hungry, I could eat an anything!

[Ami sounds honestly perplexed, just a little bit. She wasn't remembering it wrong, was she?]

Anyway, if you're that hungry, you should stop and have a snack, maybe.

Ah! That's right! If a doctor tells you that you should be snacking, you should do it right away!
